Brody and Ruth go out to do chores with me. So we all bundle up warm and sing on our way out. We open the chickens, getting ready to milk the cows Emily and Nesha. While I was away last week Amy and Reggie trained Nesha to be nice while she is milked. I only milk the cows once a day as milking is so demanding. It is working out well 2 cows give about 7 gallons. We let Nesha calf out to run she is such a cutie. The kids climb on the hay, play with the kittens and run with the calf. We collect eggs on the way in the house and Ruth when we get in the house I put the eggs in the fridge, Ruth says” Nanna I need to pet the eggs” The weather is still not to bad but cold temps are on the way.
